Superintendent of Wastewater
Town Staff

Todd Kellison serves as the Superintendent of Wastewater Treatment and has been employed by the Town since September 1998.  Mr. Kellison supervises an excellent fulltime crew of three that are responsible for maintenance and operations of the Luray Wastewater Treatment Plant. Sewer pump stations are maintained by this department. Most mechanical and electrical problems at the Wastewater Treatment Plant are also taken care of by plant staff. Responsibilities include monthly and annual reports required by DEQ and EPA for discharge monitoring, toxicity testing, biosolids handling, and nutrient discharges that relate to the Chesapeake Bay Agreement. The Wastewater plant laboratory is in compliance with, and certified by DCLS.  Our primary goal is to have a positive impact on the environment so that residents and visitors alike can enjoy the natural beauty of the area.
