Steve Burke was appointed Town Manager and began serving in this role in March 2018.  Steve came to Luray with over 25 years of experience in local government, most recently serving as the Director of Public Works for the City of Manassas.  At the City, he oversaw the daily operations of street and drainage maintenance, traffic control, fleet maintenance, buildings and ground maintenance, horticulture operations, and solid waste management.  With the Town of Front Royal, Steve served many roles including Town Manager, Director of Environmental Services, Interim Planning Director, and Town Engineer.  Steve has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida and is a registered Professional Engineer in Virginia and Florida.
