PRESS RELEASE 

On August 29, 2017 at a Special Meeting, the Luray Town Council took the following action: 

The Council approved a Conceptual Design contract with Frazier & Associates for the updating of certain 
elements from a 2008 Downtown Revitalization Plan. The contracted work focuses on concepts related 
to a Downtown Revitalization Grant that the Town intends to apply for in the coming months. Phase I 
of the contract of services concentrates on elements needed to submit the grant application, and is 
estimated at a Not to Exceed amount of $9,750. Funding support for this contract will come from within 
the approved budget sections highlighted for Economic Development and Community Planning.
